2008年于中科院力学所获得生物力学方向博士学位。研究方向为细胞-生物大分子的力学-化学-生物学耦合,主要从事力作用下受体-配体键(选择素、整合素)结合和解离,以及采用生物力学、生物材料和活细胞成像相结合的技术方法研究血管力学环境(硬度及流场)调控免疫反应的力学-生物学耦合机制。

Dr. Zhang obtained a Ph. D. in biomechanics at institute of mechanics, CAS.  In her PhD work with Prof. Mian Long, She conducted research in force-regulated kinetics of adhesion molecules (e.g., selectins and integrins) and the biophysical mechanisms of kinetic characteristics. Dr. Zhang’s current research is engineering cells and their microenvironment to understand effects of blood vessel stiffening and blood flow on endothelial cell biomechanics, leukocyte mechanosensing, and leukocyte transmigration during normal immune response and in the context of cardiovascular disease.
